Commissions


Can you print something from my own artwork?

Yes! I love to turn other people's illustrations and designs into tactile letterpress prints. Please get in touch if you want to discuss how to prep your artwork.


What about if it's a pencil and paper type deal?

We have the technology :) I can adapt your artwork into letterpress ready digital files. Get in touch for more detail.


What is the turnaround time for a custom print?

This can depend on a lot of factors. Customs prints available in my shop take 1-2 weeks. Fully bespoke stationery such as business cards and wedding suites can take anything from a few weeks to a few months depending on how long the consultation period is, and how many design iterations we need.

If you have an impending deadline please just get in touch and we can discuss timings.

Are your workshops suitable for beginners?

Very much so, yes. I've had all levels, from those who have never seen a press before, to people who own an Adana and already print at home! Everyone so far has left the studio with beautiful prints that they're very happy with and that they have made entirely themselves!


What is covered in the Taster workshop?

A surprising amount! I will take you through the anatomy of the press, and show you how to ink up in your chosen colour. Next you'll typeset and lock up your message or chosen design and I'll show you how to print your own small range of cards.


What else is covered in the Full Day workshop?

All of the above, plus you'll be shown the process of makeready (literally, making the press ready for printing), all the way through to clean up. The full day allows more time for printing with more colours and more complicated designs.


I booked a workshop, but it's a while away - will you send me a reminder?

Yes! I send a reminder email one week before your workshop with all the details you'll need. Please check your spam if you haven't heard from me, and if in doubt get in touch.


What is your cancellation policy?

Two weeks' notice is needed for a full refund, but I will always do my best to be flexible, rescheduling and filling last minute spaces where I can.
